How to read a personal reading without turning it into a label
12 September 2026 · ASTRUM
It is easy to look for a final answer in writing about yourself: “So that is who I am.” A symbolic reading should not become a verdict, even when a sentence feels familiar.
Understand the format first
Read the introduction and limitations. ASTRUM uses AI to write interpretations automatically from calculated data. This is not a scientific test or an individual professional assessment. Clear writing does not remove the method’s limitations.
Compare it with experience, rather than forcing experience to fit
Instead of “It says so, therefore it must be true,” ask: “When have I noticed this? When has the opposite been true?” Both answers matter. You do not need to agree with every paragraph for the reading to be interesting.
If a description does not fit, you do not have to search for a hidden flaw you are supposed to uncover. You can simply set that part aside.
Distinguish a theme from a fact
A sentence about needing space can prompt a question about your preferences. It does not establish the cause of a conflict, explain your past on your behalf or reveal another person’s intentions.
An accurately calculated chart position and a reliable conclusion about life are not the same. Technical data can show where a symbolic interpretation came from, but do not prove it true.
Take one small question with you
You do not have to change anything immediately. You might write down one question: “What would I like to explain about myself more clearly?” or “Which activities do I choose out of interest rather than habit?” The answer belongs in your life, not in another paid chapter.
Important decisions need other foundations
Treatment, safety, money and legal matters need real information and appropriate help. A reading should not push you away from that help. Your freedom to disagree with the text is part of a healthy approach to this format.
